Rahayati Ahmad obtained PhD of Accounting and Master in Accountancy from University Technology MARA, Shah Alam, Selangor. Currently, she is working as a Senior lecturer and held a position as Director of Research Management Center at University Islam Antarabangsa Sultan Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah, Kuala Ketil, Kedah. Before this, she was in fast food industry working as a Manager of Pizza Hut Restaurant for almost 5 years. Along her journey as a lecturer, she managed to obtain several grants from Fundamental Research Grant Schemes (FRGS) from the Ministry of High Education and Short Term Grant from her university. Her research field related to Corporate Governance, Corporate Social responsibilities, Capital structure, accounting and Islamic Finance.
